I’ve been obsessed with cars and driving ever since Dad set up a Scalextric track on the lounge carpet, long before I could even walk.

When handed a copy of TopGear Magazine as a 10-year-old I knew I wanted to be a motoring journalist.

My career has allowed me to travel the world, from driving a Land Rover Discovery over sand dunes in Utah, to drifting a Jaguar F-Type across a frozen lake in Swedish Lapland. I’ve driven a Bugatti Chiron with Andy Wallace in the passenger seat, been let loose in a Ferrari 250 SWB and 250 Lusso (on the same day!), and interviewed the likes of Gordon Murray, Jenson Button, Mate Rimac and Jeremy Clarkson.
